To use tires in MBDyn configure MBDyn with the following options before the make:
./configure --with-module=wheel2 --with-static-modules

This example shows the typical slider crank (minus the monkey). This illustrates a closed loop problem. Closed loops can be difficult because users often make redundant constraints. Commercial codes will fix this behind the scenes, which is nice but somehow the redundant constraints need to be thrown out, either by some automated reduction of the constraint matrix or by the user putting in an acceptable combination of constraints.Blender Model:
